Working conditions of DTF films
About printing
The image side is wrapped around the outside of the paper. Let the printing ink dry before transfer.
Test conditions
Ink load: maximum 400%; transfer temperature: 130-165 ° C; transfer time: 8-15 seconds
About storage
To protect unused transfer film, it is recommended to store it in a polyethylene bag in its original packaging at temperatures of 68 ° F to 82 ° F (20 ° C to 28 ° C) and 40 to 60% RH.
About washing
Wash at low temperature, approximately 30-40 °C (86-104 °F) or even cold wash, and use a medium wash cycle (600-800 rpm).
FAQ
Q1: What causes DTF film oxidation and failure?
A: Oxidation mainly occurs if the film is exposed to high temperature, high humidity or direct sunlight for a long time. Keep it sealed and stored in a cool dry place. Once the coating turns yellow or brittle, the film can no longer be used.
Q2: Is this DTF film cold peel or hot peel?
A: This standard grade is cold peel. Allow the print to cool fully before peeling. It matches perfectly with our EAZcor DTF hot-melt powder. If you need hot-peel film, please contact us for custom options.
Q3: Why does ink spread/blur when printing on the film?
A: Ink bleeding usually comes from incorrect ink volume or improper drying speed. Check your printer ink settings. Our film has controlled ink absorption to prevent excessive spreading. Always test before mass production.
Q4: What widths and lengths are available for this DTF film roll?
A: We supply multiple roll widths and lengths to match different DTF printers. Custom sizes are available upon request. Please send your target dimension for quotation.
Q5: Can this DTF film work on dark fabrics?
A: Yes. Combined with our DTF white ink and hot-melt powder, it transfers sharp patterns onto dark and light coloured textiles, such as t-shirts, hoodies and canvas fabrics.
